YOUR PHOTOSHOOT: BUYING NEW CLOTHES

It is so important to look and feel your best for your session and your wardrobe plays a huge role in this!

Picking out outfits pieces that work together with a vision of what you want to wear by shopping - rather than trying to make what you already have in your closet work, will eliminate stress and will best describe you!

Remember, your style is your reflection of your personality.

Going out and buying new clothing will dismisses a few obstacles that seniors who pick from their closet will have to face. The four main ones are:

1. Stains

2. Wrinkles

3. Fading

4. Out of Style

Apart from these, clothing just doesn't fit the same as it did when you originally purchased it. Materials become stretched out and don't flatter ones figure as well as they once did.

This means shopping is the next step right? ... Actually, no.

Take it from me, its exhausting to shop an entire mall or even an entire store without a true vision of what you are really looking for. So let's plan a little:

HOW TO SHOP

1. THREE MAIN LOOKS

Although there is an unlimited amount of outfit changes on your photoshoot session, I would recommend keeping it to three main looks: Casual, Dressy, and an outfit that 100% describes you and your personal style - be bold with it.

2. INSPIRATION BOARD

Create a visual board of full outfits that you like and would want to imitate for your photoshoot. Pinterest is a great way to search trends and organize looks.

3. FIND THE STORES

From here, you could go to the mall and look for outfits that fit these looks and styles but this may also result in not finding at all what you are looking for. Therefore, shop online a little bit. Search stores that you know are in your area and see if any of them have the trends you are seeking.

What's next?  S H O P P I N G !

There will be a post soon on places to shop. Stay tuned. ;)
